Functional Range Conditioning

Functional Range Conditioning

Project Description

Functional Range Conditioning, or FRC, is a trademarked system of mobility and joint control training.

Mobility, defined as the extent of controllable flexibility across joints (flexibility plus strength), refers to the amount of USABLE motion that one possesses.  FRC increases ones active, useable ranges of motion by simultaneously improving joint mobility, strength/resilience, and neurological control.  It is the control of these improved active ranges of movement that provide the benefits of injury prevention, improved performance (athletic and non-athletic), and lasting joint health.  FRC training is typically completed with body weight exercises only, requires minimal to no equipment and is suitable for patients of any fitness level and age.
