These last few months have been a whirlwind for me.

The week of New Years, I found my self in Montreal, the co-host for the IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships, as part of the host medical staff.

On February 11th, I travelled to beautiful Prince George, BC where I spent 2 ½ weeks for my first multi-games experience at the 2015 Canada Winter Games.  I had the pleasure of seeing sports and working with elite, high-performance young athletes that I normally don’t get a chance to, like ringette, speed-skating, alpine skiing, judo, and more, as part of the host medical staff.  It was truly an honour to represent my home province of Ontario and especially The Proactive Athlete.  I learned a lot from the all-star network of medical staff, from orthopedic surgeons to sport medical doctors to athletic and physical therapists.  I also felt that I brought a unique set of skills to the games that caught the eyes of my fellow practitioners.  Looking forward to the Pan Am and ParaPan Games this summer!!
