ACUPUNCTURE

By: November 10, 2012

Acupuncture is one of the world’s oldest forms of therapy which through it’s safety, and effectiveness has seen integration in the Contemporary Western Medical landscape.  Our approach to acupuncture is based upon an anatomic, functional model that is adapted from Traditional Chinese Medicine, and taught at McMaster University.  Acupuncture involves the insertion of clean, solid needles into specific anatomic locations which may be combined with manual or electrical stimulation.  Acupuncture can have both a local and systemic (general) body effect resulting I relaxation, healing, and pain alleviation.
